Find hope, disrupt distress, keep focus, and express gratitude.

Simple, positive affirmations can be done alone or with a group. Take a moment every day to disrupt patterns of negative thinking and overwork to appreciate yourself and each other.

Sit comfortably, feeling where your body meets your chair or couch and the floor, take a few deep breaths and cherish what comes to mind.

Sample affirmations are below to get started, but find some space to create your own simple, present tense, positive statements that relate to your individual context:

  • I am grateful and secure in the belief that everything will be okay.

  • I have the skills I need to be successful.

  • I have a bright future ahead of me.

  • I am ready to tackle any challenges.

  • I practice with compassion and proficiency.
